DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY:
Erasmus Life Porto is a non-profit organization and our main goal is to make students feel like at home and to make their exchange experience unforgettable. We organize several trips from north to south, many local activities and multiple parties a week in the best clubs in Porto.

LOCATION: Porto (Portugal)

MINIMUM DURATION: 5 months

START DATE: As soon as possible

BUSINESS - International studies, Human resources management, Hospitality management, Tourism, Cultural management
MEDIA - Photography, Graphic design, Audiovisual communication, Marketing

REQUIREMENTS:
Background in Marketing, Communication, Media, Management, or a related field

Previous experience with social media marketing through studies, personal projects, internships, or student organisations

Good understanding of social media strategy, content planning, and audience engagement

Interest or basic knowledge of paid advertising campaigns is a plus

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks for two locations

Creativity, initiative, and a proactive approach to content creation

Familiarity with content tools such as Canva, and CapCut

Excellent written and spoken English

Enjoy working in an international environment

TASKS:

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager on strategic social media and marketing tasks
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across both cities
• Help with onboarding and guiding new social media interns
• Help build and maintain a structured content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Create engaging photo, video, and written content tailored to international student audiences
• Assist with the management of social media channels, focusing on growth, engagement, and brand consistency
• Contribute to paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads), including basic setup, targeting, and performance analysis
• Monitor analytics and help prepare insights/reports to improve content and strategy
• Collaborate with teams in Porto and Lisboa to coordinate promotion for events, trips, and partnerships
• Provide occasional media coverage during events, trips, and activities

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXPECTED FROM THE TRAINEE:

• English B2/C1

Students must participate in Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeships and hold an Erasmus+ scholarship
